Floating Home

Quinta-feira, 04 de Fevereiro del 2021
This project developed by the i29 architectural firm is part of Schoonschip, a floating village of 46 houses whose objective is to create the most sustainable floating community in Europe.

The location of the project has an industrial past but it is one of the areas in Amsterdam that have quickly transformed into a multifunctional housing area.

The exterior design is the result of an extensional study of the space. All areas have an open connection to the three-story atrium. The accommodation extends with a connection between levels to a terrace above the water. The interior and the facade play with the external views of the building.
