In June 2018, at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, California, Art Director Steve Czech and Visual Design Lead Brendan Callahan were planning on renewing Google's Shopping imagery.
As part of many creative projects, beginning with a couple of mood-boards, they noticed that many of the photographs they were referencing were part of Virginie Gosselin's work.
They emailed Virginie requesting to talk to her about a future project for which they prepared a proposal to develop the imagery for Google Shopping with Zetä Production.
We just love the monochromatic work that resulted in this project where each image color is related to a specific category. When the team produced a series of themed images, they decided to combine colors from the different categories but still maintaining a very friendly atmosphere around the photographs.
